DL1 Smart Lock – Simple Step-by-Step Instructions

WME DL2 Set up Guide

A. Before You Start

  • Make sure the lock is fitted to the door correctly (front body outside, back body inside).
  • Keep at least one mechanical key somewhere safe (car, trusted neighbour, etc.) in case of emergency.

B. Install / Replace the Batteries

  1. On the indoor unit (back body), loosen the screw on the battery cover. The screw is captive, so it won’t fall out.
  2. Remove the battery cover.
  3. Insert 4 × AA batteries, following the + / – markings.
  4. Refit the cover and tighten the screw.

Tip: When batteries run low the lock will warn you – replace all 4 at the same time for best performance.
