Alarm Panels

The alarm panel is the part of an intruder system that decides what an event means, so it sets the ceiling on everything else: how many zones, which radio, whether the system can be armed from a phone.

Two shapes are stocked. Wireless hubs such as the Ajax Hub 2 Plus carry devices over their own radio and connect out over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or LTE, with photo verification on the models that support it. Hybrid panels such as the Texecom EURO range mix wired zones with wireless expanders and scale to multiple areas and up to 76 zones, which is what a commercial site with separate tenancies needs. Pyronix and Hikvision panels sit alongside them. Event logging and system zoning are standard across the range, and keypads are stocked separately where a kit does not include one.

Panels are specified with the devices that report to them — see Smart Alarms & Sensors for detectors, contacts and sirens, and Pyronix Enforcer Kits or Ajax Alarms for panel-and-device kits. Zone count, areas and grading are stated per product.
