What it does

Hub 2 Plus Jeweller is a wireless control panel with support for photo verification. It uses Jeweller, a proprietary wireless communication technology to transmit alarms and events, and Wings, a proprietary wireless communication technology to transmit photo verifications.

Photo verification types are photo by alarm, photo by scenario, photo on demand and photo by schedule, with photo resolution of up to 640 × 480 pixels depending on the detector. The Photo by Schedule feature needs hub firmware version OS Malevich 2.19 or higher.

Where it is used

The hub is designed for indoor installation only. It is rated IP20, with an operating temperature range from −10°C to +40°C and operating humidity of up to 75%.

Installation notes

Main power is 110–240 V~, 50/60 Hz, with up to 10 W of mains power consumption. A built-in backup rechargeable Li-ion battery gives up to 15 hours of offline operation when Ethernet is disconnected.

Alternative power of 6 V⎓ or 12–24 V⎓ requires the 6V PSU (type A) or the 12–24V PSU (type A) alternative power supply unit, sold separately.

Connections are Ethernet (1 8P8C socket, up to 100 Mbps), an 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi module and 2 micro-SIM slots, with instant switching between Ethernet, Wi-Fi and SIM.

The complete set contains the Hub 2 Plus Jeweller, SmartBracket mounting panel, power cable, Ethernet cable, installation kit, SIM card (depends on the sales region) and quick start guide.

Day to day

Supported notification types are push-notifications, SMS and calls. The users and the security company receive notifications in case of jamming or when the hub loses connection with the devices.

The system also receives notifications about attempts to detach the device from the surface or remove it from the mounting panel.
