Airsense 9-30671 is a basic detector.

Stratos-Micra 25 is designed to provide LOCALISED incipient fire detection only. This means it is suitable for a wide range of applications such as small non-compartmentalised rooms, warehouse racking, or individual electronic or electromechanical equipment where individual incipient fire reporting is required. In compartmentalised rooms, each compartment would typically use separate Stratos-Micra 25 detectors.

This product uses a very low-power aspirator, and the aspirating capability of the Stratos-Micra 25 detector is limited accordingly. Stratos-Micra 25 is NOT intended to protect large areas or to sample from areas with differing airflow rates or pressure differentials. Use of Stratos-Micra 25 in such conditions is not recommended.

For detection in environments matching these descriptions, alternative Stratos product versions should be used. We recommend a maximum sampling pipe length of 25 metres for the Stratos-Micra 25. The maximum single sampling pipe length for the Stratos-Micra 100 detector is 100 metres (or 2 x 50 metre lengths) in still air with 25 sampling holes (or Capillary Remote Sampling Points).

This allows a transport time from the end of the sampling pipe within 120 seconds. If there is airflow in the protected area, the maximum permitted sampling pipe length will be reduced.
