The Ajax DomeCam Mini HL (5 Mp/4 mm), model 126271.214.WH1, is a wired AI-powered security IP camera with an 85° viewing angle, hybrid illumination, True WDR, a microphone and PoE/12 V power, for outdoor and indoor use. It records 5 MP (2880 × 1620) video and uses AI object detection to pick out people, pets and vehicles.

Ajax 126271.214.WH1 AI-Powered Dome IP Camera, 5MP, 4mm

What it does

Hybrid illumination uses white LEDs and IR LEDs, each reaching up to 15 m, and intelligent lighting control adjusts their intensity in real time to prevent overexposure. Minimum illumination is 0.005 lx in colour and 0 lx in B/W.

DORI distances are Detection 86 m, Observation 34.4 m, Recognition 17.2 m and Identification 8.6 m.

Where it is used

The camera is for outdoor and indoor use. It is rated IP66 and IK08, with an operating temperature range from −30 °C to +60 °C and operating humidity up to 90%.

Installation notes

Power comes over PoE (802.3at/af), at up to 7.3 W maximum, or from a 12 V⎓ ± 20%, 1 A external power supply unit, at up to 6.3 W maximum. The network port is 1 × RJ-45 self-adaptive Ethernet (10/100 Mbps).

Video can be stored on microSD up to 256 GB (Class V30 or faster; the card is not included) or on an Ajax NVR. The camera is conformant with ONVIF® Profile G and S.

Day to day

The camera uses JetSparrow, a fast and encrypted peer-to-peer video protocol developed by Ajax Systems. Ajax detectors can be set to trigger selected cameras to start recording, and the recorded event goes straight to the mobile or desktop monitoring app.

All access rights are fully configurable by the device owner. Sabotage protection includes an mTLS encrypted connection, authentication via Ajax Cloud, Secure Boot against firmware spoofing and OTA signature verification for secure automatic firmware updates.
