Ajax 126256.217.BL1 BulletCam HL AI-Powered IP Camera, 8 MP, 2.8 mm, Black

What it does

BulletCam HL (8 Mp/2.8 mm) uses an 8 MP CMOS, 1/2.7" type sensor and a fixed 2.8 mm lens at f/1.6, giving a horizontal field of view of 100–110°, vertical 50–60° and diagonal 125–135°. It records 8 MP (3840 × 2160) at up to 20 fps in H.265 or H.264.

Hybrid illumination reaches up to 50 m with the white LED and up to 50 m with the IR LED. Intelligent lighting control automatically adjusts the intensity of the IR and white LEDs in real time to prevent overexposure.

The DORI distances are Detection: 90 m, Observation: 36 m, Recognition: 18 m and Identification: 9 m. True WDR reaches 120 dB, and the signal-to-noise ratio is more than 52 dB.

Where it is used

The camera is for outdoor and indoor use, with an IP66, IK08 protection class. It operates from −30 °C to +60 °C at operating humidity up to 90%.

Installation notes

Power comes over PoE (802.3at/af), at maximum up to 8.1 W, or from a 12 V⎓ ± 20%, 1 A power supply unit, at maximum up to 7.0 W. The network connection is 1 × RJ-45 self-adaptive Ethernet (10/100 Mbps).

Video is stored on microSD up to 256 GB (Class V30 or faster; the card is not included in the complete set) or on an Ajax NVR. The camera is conformant with ONVIF® Profile G and S.

Day to day

Ajax detectors can trigger selected cameras to start recording, and the recorded event is immediately sent to the mobile or desktop monitoring app. Video travels over JetSparrow, a fast and encrypted peer-to-peer video protocol developed by Ajax Systems.

All access rights are fully configurable by the device owner. The camera also protects itself with an mTLS encrypted connection, authentication via Ajax Cloud, Secure Boot and OTA signature verification.
