The Ajax BulletCam HL (8 Mp/2.8 mm) is a wired AI-powered security IP camera with a 110° viewing angle, hybrid illumination, True WDR, microphone, and PoE/12 V, for outdoor and indoor use. It records up to 8 MP (3840 × 2160) and its AI object detection recognises people, pets and vehicles.

How far can the BulletCam HL (8 Mp/2.8 mm) see at night?
Its maximum illumination distance is up to 50 m with the white LED and up to 50 m with the IR LED. Intelligent lighting control adjusts the intensity of IR and white LEDs in real time to prevent overexposure.
Can it be powered over PoE?
Yes. It supports PoE standard 802.3at/af, with PoE power consumption of maximum: up to 8.1 W and average: up to 7.0 W. It can also run from a 12 V ± 20%, 1 A power supply unit.
Where are recordings stored?
On a microSD card in the camera or on an Ajax NVR. The camera supports microSD up to 256 GB, Class V30 or faster; the card is not included in the complete set.
What can the AI detect?
AI object detection recognises people, pets and vehicles, and the camera detects motion using software image frame analysis.
Is it suitable for outdoor installation?
Yes. It is for outdoor and indoor use, with protection class IP66, IK08 and an operating temperature range from −30 °C to +60 °C.
Does it record sound?
It has a built-in microphone; with the corresponding settings, the camera can record audio at the scene.
