What it does

The DomeCam Mini HL (8 Mp/2.8 mm) is a wired AI-powered security IP camera with an 8 MP CMOS, 1/2.7" type sensor and a fixed 2.8 mm lens. It records at up to 8 MP (3840 × 2160) and up to 20 fps using H.265 or H.264.

Its DORI distances are Detection: 90 m, Observation: 36 m, Recognition: 18 m and Identification: 9 m. Hybrid illumination reaches up to 15 m with white LED and up to 15 m with IR LED, and intelligent lighting control adjusts the intensity of IR and white LEDs in real time to prevent overexposure.

AI object detection recognises people, pets and vehicles, and the camera detects motion using software image frame analysis.

Where it is used

The camera is for outdoor and indoor use, with an IP66, IK08 protection class, an operating temperature range from −30 °C to +60 °C and operating humidity up to 90%.

Installation notes

Power comes from PoE (802.3at/af), with PoE power consumption of up to 8.2 W maximum, or from a 12 V external power supply unit (12 V ± 20%, 1 A). The network connection is 1 × RJ-45 self-adaptive Ethernet (10/100 Mbps).

Recordings can be stored on microSD up to 256 GB (Class V30 or faster; the card is not included) or on an Ajax NVR. The camera is conformant with ONVIF® Profile G and S.

The camera measures 114 × 114 × 67 mm and weighs 430 g. The complete set includes the camera, an installation template, an installation kit and a quick start guide.

Day to day

All access rights, including those for mobile app users, installers and monitoring company operators, are fully configurable by the device owner.
