Ajax 126268.214.BL1 DomeCam Mini HL Wired Security IP Camera, 5 MP, 2.8mm

What it does

The DomeCam Mini HL (5 Mp/2.8 mm) uses a 5 MP CMOS, 1/2.8" type sensor behind a fixed 2.8 mm lens, with a field of view of horizontal: 100–110°, vertical: 50–60° and diagonal: 125–135°. Resolutions run from 5 MP (2880 × 1620) down to 0.6 MP (1024 × 576), and the frame rate is up to 25 fps.

DORI distances are Detection: 65 m, Observation: 26 m, Recognition: 13 m and Identification: 6.5 m. Hybrid illumination combines white LED up to 15 m and IR LED up to 15 m, and minimum illumination is color: 0.005 lx, B/W: 0 lx.

Where it is used

Ajax rates the camera for outdoor and indoor use, with protection class IP66, IK08. The operating temperature range is from -30 °C to +60 °C, with operating humidity up to 90%.

Installation notes

Power comes from PoE (802.3at/af) or an external 12 V⎓ ± 20%, 1 A power supply unit. On PoE, power consumption is maximum: up to 7.2 W and average: up to 6.8 W; on 12 V DC it is maximum: up to 6.1 W and average: up to 5.8 W.

The network port is 1 × RJ-45 self-adaptive Ethernet (10/100 Mbps), and the camera is conformant with ONVIF® Profile G and S. It measures 114 × 114 × 67 mm and weighs 430 g.

Storage is microSD or Ajax NVR. The camera supports microSD up to 256 GB, the memory card should be Class V30 or faster, and the card is not included in the complete set.

Day to day

AI object detection picks out people, pets and vehicles, and the camera detects motion using software image frame analysis. Ajax detectors can be set to trigger selected cameras to start recording, for visual verification of Ajax alarms.

Video travels over JetSparrow, a fast and encrypted peer-to-peer video protocol developed by Ajax Systems, and all access rights are fully configurable by the device owner. With the corresponding settings, the built-in microphone can record audio at the scene.
