Ajax 76018.214.WH1 DomeCam Mini Wired AI-powered IP Camera, 5MP, 2.8mm

What it does

The DomeCam Mini (5 Mp/2.8 mm) uses a 5 MP CMOS, 1/2.7" type sensor and a 2.8 mm lens with f/1.6 maximum aperture, giving a horizontal field of view of 100–110°. It records up to 5 MP (2880 × 1620) at up to 25 fps in H.265 or H.264.

IR illumination reaches up to 15 m, and intelligent lighting control automatically adjusts the intensity of IR LEDs in real time to prevent overexposure.

The camera detects motion using software image frame analysis, and AI object detection identifies people, pets and vehicles. WDR is 120 dB (True WDR).

Where it is used

The camera is for outdoor and indoor use, with protection class IP66, IK08. Its operating temperature range is from −30 °C to +60 °C, with operating humidity up to 90%.

Installation notes

Power comes from PoE (802.3at/af, 36–57 V, Class 3) or from a 12 V, 1 A power supply unit; average power consumption is 12 W.

Networking is 1 × RJ-45 self-adaptive Ethernet (10/100 Mbps), and the camera is conformant with ONVIF® Profile G and S. It measures 113 × 60 mm and weighs 360 g; the complete set includes an installation template and installation kit.

Video can be stored on microSD or on an Ajax NVR. The camera supports microSD up to 256 GB, Class V30 or faster; the card is not included in the complete set.

Day to day

JetSparrow, a fast and encrypted peer-to-peer video protocol developed by Ajax Systems, carries the video. A scenario can be configured so that Ajax detectors trigger selected cameras to start recording, and the recorded event is immediately sent to the mobile or desktop monitoring app.

All access rights are fully configurable by the device owner. Sabotage protection includes mTLS, authentication via Ajax Cloud, Secure Boot and OTA signature verification.
