The Ajax FireProtect 2 RB (CO) Jeweller (63213.166.BL1) is a wireless CO detector with replaceable batteries for Ajax security systems, in black. It uses a chemical CO sensor to raise an alarm when the accumulated dose of carbon monoxide is exceeded, sounds its in-built siren (85 dB at a distance of 3 meters) and reports to the hub over Jeweller radio.

How long does the CO sensor last?
Sensor life is 10 years. After 10 years of operation, the detector must be replaced with a new one.
How far can it be from the hub?
Radio communication range is up to 1,700 m between the detector and a hub (or radio signal range extender) in an open space.
Can it be installed outdoors?
No. The device is designed only for indoor installation, and its protection class is IP20.
