What it is

SpaceControl Jeweller is Ajax's key fob for controlling security modes. It activates full or partial alarm modes, and its panic button sends an alarm signal to the Central Monitoring Station. It indicates command execution with a colour blink, and thanks to two-way communication with the hub control panel, it confirms that the alarm command has reached it.

It has four buttons on its body: arming, disarming, panic button and service button. The service button can be programmed to perform automated actions and control a smart home.

Security and range

The radio communication protects the key fob from forgery and encrypts the information it exchanges with the hub; it also has jamming detection. It can operate up to 1300 m from an alarm control panel in open areas, or across multiple building floors.

It can work as part of a third-party security system through the Ajax integration modules uartBridge and ocBridge/ocBridge Plus.

Setting up

It is ready to operate straight out of the box: the battery is already installed, and with one click it can be connected to the hub in the mobile application. Pairing is via QR code, with configuring and testing in the mobile and desktop apps. The pre-installed battery works without replacement for up to five years.
