Ajax 79025.217.BL1 Wired AI-Powered IP Bullet Camera, 5MP, 4mm

What it does

The BulletCam (5 Mp/4 mm) pairs a 5 MP CMOS, 1/2.7" type sensor with a fixed 4 mm lens at f/1.6, giving a horizontal field of view of 75–85°. It records at up to 25 fps in H.265 or H.264, with 120 dB True WDR.

AI object detection recognises people, pets and vehicles, and motion detection uses software image frame analysis. DORI distances are detection 86 m, observation 34.4 m, recognition 17.2 m and identification 8.6 m.

Where it is used

It is made for outdoor and indoor use, with IP66, IK08 protection, an operating temperature range from −30 °C to +60 °C and operating humidity up to 90%.

Installation notes

Power is PoE (802.3at/af, 36–57 V, Class 3) or a 12 V DC, 1 A power supply unit, with average power consumption of 12 W. The network port is 1 × RJ-45 self-adaptive Ethernet (10/100 Mbps).

Video can be stored on microSD up to 256 GB (Class V30 or faster; the card is not included in the complete set) or on an Ajax NVR. The camera is conformant with ONVIF® Profile G and S.

Day to day

Ajax detectors can trigger selected cameras to start recording, and the recorded event is immediately sent to the mobile or desktop monitoring app. Video travels over JetSparrow, a fast and encrypted peer-to-peer video protocol developed by Ajax Systems.

All access rights are fully configurable by the device owner, and the camera uses mTLS encrypted connection, authentication via Ajax Cloud, Secure Boot and OTA signature verification.
