Bell System VRP35 resistant flush panel

Construction

VRP panels are manufactured from 2.5mm 316 marine grade stainless steel, or optionally in solid brass. They are supplied for flush mounting with a zintec back-box, or optionally for surface fitting with a stainless steel cowling; the VRP35 is the flush panel.

The panel is fixed to its back-box with tamper proof bolts, and a special ¼” hex bit is supplied. Each stainless steel vandal resistant push-button is attached by a nut on the rear of the panel.

Where it is used

VRP panels are designed to resist all but the most determined of vandals, for vulnerable areas where the entrance panel may be subject to high traffic or vandalism. They are preferred by local authority and public housing.

Despite the 316 marine grade stainless steel, panels can still be prone to tarnishing in some coastal locations or in areas of industrial pollution; if in doubt about suitability, Bell System asks to be contacted for advice.

Push-button count

Bell System's ordering rule for the range is "Order a model VRP n or LCP n, where n is the number of push-buttons required", so the VRP35 is the 35 push-button panel. Where a Tradesmen/Services button is required, an extra push-button is to be included.
