About this product

CDVI EM200 is an emergency door release from the EM range.

The EM series of emergency door releases provide emergency unlocking of doors which are secured by electrical locks. Two models are available: The EM200GDB is a traditional "break-glass" unit, whereby the safety glass breaks when pressed and needs to be replaced to reset the unit.

The EM201GDM is a "resettable" unit. whereby the safety glass is dislodged when pressed and can be reset back to its normal position by use of a reset key. Both units are double pole as standard - this allows for the control of the lock and provides a signal for monitoring of the unit if required (activate a sounder, trigger to an access control device etc). The EM series are supplied complete with a back box for surface fitting, but by removing the back box they can be fitted flush onto a standard UK back box.

Full instructions are included. Replacement glass for the EM200GDB and spare keys for the EM201GDM are available on request.
