Overview

Comelit's Ultra entrance panel is built from modules, and the frame is what holds them in the wall. This frame takes two modules in a black finish.

Choose the modules first, then pick the frame size. Ultra modules sit alongside other door stations and monitors on the store.

How it works

A metal support inside the frame grips the modules without screws. The die-cast aluminium finishing frame then covers the edges for a clean face.

Cataphoresis is a coating process that bonds paint into the metal surface, here used to resist chemical and environmental corrosion, including UV.

Where to use it

It suits a door entry panel recessed into a wall, where a surface frame would stand out. With only 10 mm protrusion, it sits close to the wall.

Door entry accessories such as rain shields and back boxes complete an exposed entrance.

Installing it

As a rule, set the flush box into the wall at the finished panel height and run the cables before anything else. The modules go in last, once the wiring is tested.

Wider panels can be built by fitting several modules horizontally, side by side. The frame weighs 700 g.

Planning your system

Whatever the system, the modules and power come from the wider panel design rather than the frame. A Simplebus 2 panel runs from a bus power supply such as the Comelit 1210A power supply.
