Overview

Comelit's Ultra entrance panels are built from modules: a speaker unit, call buttons, a keypad or a reader, each in its own slot. This frame holds four of them in a single column, recessed into the wall.

The black RAL9005 finish suits dark doors, cladding and modern facades.

How it works

• Metal support: the inner support holds the modules in place without screws, so the face stays clean.
• Finishing frame: die-cast aluminium with a cataphoresis coating, a dip-applied paint layer that resists corrosion and UV damage.
• Flush box: the frame fits over a flush-mounted box art. 3110/4 or 3110/4A set into the wall.

Where to use it

It suits entrances where the panel should sit almost flush, with only 10 mm standing proud of the wall. Several frames can sit side by side for larger panels.

As a rule, recessing a panel needs a wall deep enough for the back box, so check the wall build-up before choosing flush over surface mounting.

Planning your system

The frame is only the housing. The panel also needs its Ultra modules, the flush back box and the system's power supply.

Standards and ratings explained

• RAL9005: a standard colour reference for jet black, useful for matching other ironmongery.
• Simplebus and ViP: Simplebus is Comelit's 2-wire bus system; ViP is its IP system. The frame works with both.
