Comelit iKall Metal Audio Module, 1 Button 33401M

Overview

The 33401M is the 1-button version of the iKall metal audio module from Comelit. The module is designed for an audio speaker unit, and its nameplate carries LED lighting.

At a door entry panel, the audio module is where a visitor presses the call button and speaks. In most door entry systems the speaker unit inside the module does the audio work, while the module gives it a face and a call button.

Where to use it

The module can be flush-mounted or wall-mounted. Its operating temperature runs from -25 to 55 °C.

Decide between flush and wall mounting early, because each needs its own preparation at the door position.

What the figures mean in practice

• 112 x 89.5 x 32 mm: the width, height and depth of the module. Check the space at the door position before ordering.
• Nameplate lighting, blue, white or off: the LED lighting options for the nameplate. Choose the option that is easiest to read at the door after dark.
• 1 button: one call button on this iKall metal audio module. Plan one module position for each call the panel needs.

Installing it

• Speaker unit: fit an audio speaker unit chosen for the cabling system used.
• Wiring: follow the speaker unit's own wiring instructions for the system in use.
• Testing: check the call button, speech and nameplate lighting before handing the panel over.
