About this product
The Comelit UT8020B is an audio/video door station module for Ultra entrance panels on IP ViP systems. It suits installers building a black RAL9005 panel at a building entrance. A wide 160° x 90° colour camera, two call buttons and IP65 and IK08 ratings fit it for exposed doors.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work on a 2-wire Simplebus system?
No. It is the IP (ViP) version of the Ultra audio/video module.
Can it be powered by PoE?
Yes. It takes standard PoE or Comelit PoE at 36÷57VDC, or an external 33VDC supply, and draws up to 6 W.
Can it open a door lock directly?
Yes. It has a relay output rated 4A at 12÷24 VAC/VDC and an SE output for 12VAC / DC locks with a 4A unlock pulse and 200mA holding current.
What finishing part does it need?
A cap, a single button or a double button, in treated plastic or aluminium. Choose the one that matches the number of call buttons on the panel.
Can the camera be viewed by other devices?
Yes. It runs an RTSP server for up to 4 clients, with H.264 baseline video.
Is it suitable for a cold, exposed entrance?
Yes, within its ratings. It works from -25 to 55 °C and is rated IP65 and IK08.
