Overview

An entrance panel needs a box to sit in. This Comelit housing is one of the door station housings that hold an entrance panel on the surface of a wall, sized for two Ultra modules and finished in black.

It suits walls where a flush back box cannot be fitted, and it works with entrance panels fitted with Ultra door stations and modules.

How it works

• Screwless support: a metal support inside the housing secures the two modules without screws.
• Finishing frame: the die-cast aluminium frame has a cataphoresis coating, an electrically applied paint layer, which raises its resistance to chemical and environmental corrosion and to UV damage.

Where to use it

It fits Ultra entrance panels on audio and audio/video door entry systems, including Simplebus 2 powered by the 1210 or 1210A supply, Simplebus 1 and ViP. The coated aluminium frame is treated to resist chemical and environmental corrosion.

What the figures mean in practice

• 35 mm deep: a slim profile that keeps the panel close to the wall, useful on narrow paths and doorways.
• 110 x 198 mm: the footprint to clear on the wall, so check around door frames and pipes before marking out.
