Comelit Ultra Audio Remote Camera Module, Black UT1010VCB

Overview

The UT1010VCB is the Ultra audio remote camera module in black. It is easy to install and configure, thanks to smart call button programming, and regulation and programming are done without removing the module.

At a door entry panel, the audio module is where a visitor calls and speaks. A remote camera lets the visitor be seen even where the camera sits away from the panel itself.

How it works

• Audio: a MEMS audio digital sensor microphone, omnidirectional, with a dual loudspeaker; loudspeaker 28mm (Ø), 8 Ohm, 1W (2).
• System status: visual indications, acoustic signals and speech synthesis of system status.
• Backlight: white or off, with backlight brightness adjustment; the twilight sensor powers it off during daytime hours.
• Settings: loudspeaker volume and microphone volume can both be adjusted.

Where to use it

The module has an IP65 protection rating, an IK08 vandal resistant rating and environmental class IV. Its operating temperature is -25 to 55 °C, at 25 to 95 % humidity (RH max).

The Ultra entrance panel comes in flush-mounted (10 mm protrusion from the wall) or surface-mounted (35 mm protrusion from the wall) variants.

What the figures mean in practice

• 33VDC supply: the supply voltage, from an external power supply. Confirm the door-entry power supply provides it before ordering.
• 1.5 W and 4 W: absorption in stand-by and maximum absorption. Add both to the power budget for the whole panel.
• Relay outputs: 2 outputs, type relay (C-NO-NC, 4A@12÷24 VAC/VDC, 10A peak). Check the lock's current against this rating.

Installing it

• Mounting: flush-mounted or wall-mounted, each with a dedicated accessory.
• Finishing: to be finished with a cap, single button or double button in professional-grade plastic given an anti-yellowing and anti-dulling treatment or in aluminium.
• Programming: manual programming via Dip Switch, or ViP Manager software.
• Door inputs: an input for a local door release button and a door open signalling input.
