Eaton CFVCFHP VoCALL Type A Outstation, Analogue, VoCALL, Type A, Outstation, Wall Mounted, Red / Metal, FlushThe VoCALL Type A Outstation can be used as a standard fire telephone or disabled refuge call point and is compatible with all analogue VoCALL emergency voice communication systems. Designed as a compact unit, it offers easy access via a magnetic push catch or lockable metal door. The Type A Outstation is available in surface mounted and flush mounted variants with the option of either red or stainless steel finishes, providing a solution for all commercial buildings.

Type B and Type A outstations, when should they be used? When choosing outstations for use with EVC systems we recommend referring to local regulations. In UK standards, for example, Type A outstations should be used for evacuation or fire fighting use and Type B should only be used where Type A outstations are impractical.

For disabled refuges Type A or Type B Outstations can be used however Type B outstations can only be used where the background noise is below 40dBA.
