What it does

The EVBPSBB supplies 12V DC for door locks. Its lock output gives 12V DC @ 1.5A to fail-safe or fail-secure locks and switches over when the coil input is energised with a normally open clean contact; a separate constant output gives 12V @ 1A.

If a battery is connected, it powers the unit on power failure, and the unit charges 12V SLA batteries. BAT32 (12V 3.2Ah), BAT7 (12V 7Ah) and BAT18 (12V 17Ah) SLA batteries are listed accessories.

Installation notes

The ABS box is surface mounted, measures 129 x 73 x 50 mm, is rated IP20 and operates from 0 to +50 °C. It is supplied with fixing screws, wall plugs, a user manual and battery cables.

Other listed accessories include the EV-EXIT push to exit release button, the EV-EBG green emergency break glass, the ENTERD flush and ENTERD-YLR surface electronic locks, and the EV-ML-250 and EV-ML-500XT electromagnetic locks.
