The HC828TW has 3840 x 2160 (8MP) effective pixels, a 1/2.7" sensor and a fixed 2.8 mm lens. Its viewing angle is 98.7° (H), 53.6° (V) and 113.4° (D), and it runs at up to 30 frames per second (max.).

Its electronic shutter is auto / manual, with a speed of 1 to 1/100000 sec. It also has an enhanced sensor for better low light viewing.

Day and night

It is a dual light (IR & white light) camera: its maximum IR distance is 30 m at an IR wavelength of 850 nm, and its white light range is 30 m. It is a 24/7 camera complete with intelligently activated white lights.

Detection and recording

Basic detection covers motion detection, ultra motion detection, tampering alarm and audio detection, and it supports intelligent detection functionality. It records to a Micro SD card of up to 512 GB and uses H.265 compression.

Power and connection

It takes 12 V DC ± 25% or PoE (IEEE802.3af/at), with a power consumption of 11.5 W. Its interface is 1 x RJ45 female (10/100M Base-TX Ethernet) and 1 x DC female (2.1x5.5mm).

It is ONVIF compliant (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T) and has a hardware reset button.

Installation

The white powder coated aluminium alloy & plastic housing measures 110.5 (Dia.) x 97.5 mm and weighs 0.47 kg. It is rated IP67 and is suitable for external applications.

Its operating temperature is -30 to +60 °C.

It is for use with the HC & H1C series of HDview IP 24/7 NVRs. In the box are 1 x QSG, 1 x camera, 1 x installation pack & 1 x mounting sticker, and the DBW2 is one of its accessories.
