What it does

The HM-TD8168-150ZE4F/G0/T2 combines a thermal module with VOx uncooled focal plane arrays at 640 × 512 and a 19-150 mm focal length, and an optical module with a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS at 2688 × 1520, 4 MP on a 10-900mm PTZ lens. One fixed lens (4mm) is overlaid on the optical PTZ channel for wide-angle monitoring.

Smart functions support 4 VCA rule types (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting), with a VCA range of 1950m for humans and 4500m for vehicles. It also has a temperature exception alarm for fire prevention, fire point detection of up to 10 fire points, and smoke detection up to 14km with 5m*5m smoke.

Where it is used

It works from -40°C to 70°C (-40°F to 158°F) at 95% humidity or less, is IP67 rated with TVS 6000 V lightning protection, and meets NEMA 4X (NEMA 250-2018) with an anti-corrosion coating.

Installation notes

Power is 48 VDC ± 20% through a two-core terminal block, with consumption of less than 190W basic and less than 270W max (heater on). The camera measures 649.2 mm × 438 mm × 668.3 mm and weighs approx. 60kg.

It connects through 1 RJ45 10 M/100 M self-adaptive Ethernet interface and 1 RS-485 interface, with 7-ch alarm inputs (0-5 VDC), 2-ch relay outputs and a 1.0 V [p-p]/75 Ω BNC analog video output for the thermal channel. It works with ISAPI, HIKVISION SDK, third-party management platforms and ONVIF (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T, Profile M).

Day to day

It works with the iVMS-4200 and Hik-Connect clients, and stores to a MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC card (up to 512 G) locally or to NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS). The thermal channel supports EIS, the optical PTZ lens supports OIS, and a wiper is fitted.
