HIKMICRO HM-TD1228T-3/G1/T3A Bi-spectrum Thermography Network Turret Camera, 256 × 192 Thermal, 5MP Optical

What it does

The HM-TD1228T-3/G1/T3A combines a thermal channel (Vanadium Oxide Uncooled Focal Plane Arrays, 256 × 192, 12 μm, spectral range 8 μm to 14 μm) with an optical channel (1/2.7" Progressive Scan CMOS, 5MP, 2688 × 1944).

Bi-Spectrum Image Fusion displays the details of the optical channel on the thermal channel, and Picture In Picture displays a partial image of the thermal channel on the full screen of the optical channel.

Temperature measurement covers -20 °C to 650 °C, with an accuracy of Max (± 2 °C, ±2 %) and 3 temperature measurement rule types (point, area, line), 21 rules in total.

VCA offers 4 VCA rule types (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance, and region exiting), up to 8 VCA rules in total, with a VCA range of 36 m for humans and 90 m for vehicles.

Where it is used

The camera has an IP67 protection level with TVS 6000V lightning protection, surge protection and voltage transient protection. It works from -40°C to 65°C at a humidity of 95% or less.

Hikvision lists a temperature exception alarm for fire prevention, from -20 °C to 650 °C.

Installation notes

Power is 12 VDC ± 25% or 24VDC ± 25% through a φ 5.5 mm coaxial power plug, or PoE (802.3at, class 4), with power consumption of max. 12.8W.

It connects through 1 RJ45 10 M/100 M self-adaptive Ethernet interface and also has 1 RS-485 interface (half duplex), 1 alarm input (0-5 VDC) and 2 alarm outputs.

The camera measures 138.3 mm × 138.3 mm × 123.1 mm and weighs 940 g.

Day to day

Recordings can be kept on a MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC card (up to 512 G) or on NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS), with Auto Network Replenishment (ANR). The listed clients are iVMS-4200 and Hik-Connect.

It supports two types of audible alarm (VCA and Temperature Exception), and the white light visual alarm has adjustable flashing frequencies.
