HIKMICRO HM-TD2618-7/G0/T1A Thermal & Optical Bi-spectrum Network Bullet Camera, 160 × 120 Thermal, 5MP Optical

What it does

The HM-TD2618-7/G0/T1A combines a 160 × 120 thermal module (6.9mm focal length, NETD ≤25 mK (25°C, F1.0)) with a 5MP optical module (8 mm focal length) in one bullet housing. Bi-spectrum image fusion displays the details of the optical channel on the thermal channel, and picture-in-picture shows part of the thermal image on the full optical view.

Video content analysis 3.0 (VCA3.0) gives high accuracy vehicle/human detection and classification, with 4 VCA rule types (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting) and up to 8 VCA rules in total. VCA range is 70 m for humans and 210 m for vehicles.

For temperature, it has 3 measurement rule types (point, area, line) with 21 rules in total, a range of -20 °C to 150 °C (-4 °F to 302 °F) and accuracy of ±8°C (±14.4°F). Fire point detection covers up to 10 fire points, alongside a smoking detection algorithm.

Where it is used

The camera series is intended for villas, communities, parking lots, warehouses, construction sites, waste incineration plants and manufacturing workshops.

It is rated IP67 and IK10, with TVS 6000V lightning protection, surge protection and voltage transient protection, and works from -40°C to 65°C (-40°F to 149°F) at 95% humidity or less.

Installation notes

Power comes from PoE (802.3at, class 4) or 12 VDC ± 25% via a two-core terminal block, with a maximum consumption of 24W on either supply. A DS-1260ZJ junction box is included.

Connections include one RJ45 10 M/100 M self-adaptive Ethernet interface, one RS-485 interface (half duplex), 2 alarm inputs (0-5 VDC), 2 alarm outputs, a 3.5 mm Mic in/Line in audio input and a linear-level audio output.

Recordings can be stored on a MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC card (up to 512 G), on NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS) or with Auto Network Replenishment (ANR). The camera supports Open Network Video Interface (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T, Profile M).

Day to day

The camera works with the iVMS-4200 and Hik-Connect clients, supports up to 20 channels of simultaneous live view and up to 32 users across 3 levels (Administrator, Operator, User).

On an event it can sound one of two types of audible alarm (VCA and Temperature Exception), using 2 preset voice alerts or 6 importable user-defined voice alerts, and flash its white light alarm at adjustable frequencies. Alarm actions include SD recording, relay output, smart capture, FTP upload and email linkage.
