HIKMICRO HM-TD1228-2/G1/T3A Thermal & Optical Bi-Spectrum Network Turret Camera, 256 × 192 Thermal, 5MP Optical

What it does

The HM-TD1228-2/G1/T3A combines a thermal module (Vanadium Oxide Uncooled Focal Plane Arrays, 256 × 192, 12 μm pixel pitch, NETD ≤25 mK (25°C, F1.0), 2.1 mm focal length) with an optical module (1/2.7" Progressive Scan CMOS, 5MP, 2688 × 1944, 2.2mm focal length, 120 dB WDR).

Bi-spectrum image fusion displays the details of the optical channel on the thermal channel, and picture in picture displays a partial image of the thermal channel on the full screen of the optical channel. There are 17 colour palette types.

VCA offers 4 VCA rule types (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance, and region exiting), up to 8 VCA rules in total. Temperature measurement offers 3 rule types (point, area, line), 21 rules in total, over -20 °C to 150 °C with ±8°C accuracy.

Fire detection supports up to 10 detectable fire points, and the camera also supports a smoking detection algorithm.

Where it is used

The camera series can be applied to sites such as villas, communities, parking lots, warehouses and construction sites.

It is rated IP67 Standard, with TVS 6000V lightning protection, surge protection and voltage transient protection, and works at -40°C to 65°C (-40°F to 149°F) with humidity of 95% or less.

Installation notes

Power is 12 VDC ± 25% through a φ 5.5 mm coaxial power plug, or PoE (802.3at, class 4). The network connection is 1, RJ45 10 M/100 M self-adaptive Ethernet interface, plus 1, RS-485 interface (half duplex).

It has 1 alarm input (0-5 VDC), 2 alarm outputs, a 3.5 mm Mic in/Line in interface, a linear level audio output and a 12 VDC, max. 1W power output.

Integration is via ISAPI, ISUP, HIKVISION SDK, and third-party management platform, and Open Network Video Interface (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T, Profile M). It measures 138.3 mm × 138.3 mm × 121.6 mm and weighs 975.6 g.

Day to day

For alarms, a white light visual alarm has adjustable flashing frequencies, and the audio alarm covers two types (VCA and Temperature Exception) with 2 preset voice alerts and 6 importable user-defined voice alerts.

Alarm actions include SD recording, relay output, smart capture, FTP upload and email linkage. Recordings can go to a MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC card (up to 512 G) or NAS, with Auto Network Replenishment (ANR).

The camera works with the iVMS-4200 and Hik-Connect clients, with up to 20 channels of simultaneous live view and up to 32 users.
