Hikvision DS-2XC6244G0-L(2.8-12mm) 316L Underwater Vari-focal Bullet Camera, 4MP, IP68

What it does

The DS-2XC6244G0-L(2.8-12mm) records at up to 2560 × 1440 at 25 fps (50 Hz) or 30 fps (60 Hz) through a motorized varifocal lens of 2.8 to 12 mm, giving a horizontal FOV of 70.1° to 29.7°.

H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 encoding saves storage space and reduces bandwidth requirements. DarkFighter technology enables the capture of high quality colour images in even the dimmest lighting environments, and True WDR technology provides clear imaging even with strong back lighting.

The supplement light type is white light, with a range of up to 1 m at turbidity (NTU) 0 to 5, up to 0.5 m at 5 to 15, and up to 0.2 m above 15.

Where it is used

The 316L stainless steel enclosure protects the camera for use in corrosive environments, and it is rated IP68 (IEC 60529-2013) for use within 15 m underwater.

Startup and operating conditions are -10 °C to 60 °C (14 °F to 140 °F), humidity 100% or less (non-condensing).

Installation notes

Power is 36 VDC ± 20%, 0.5 A, max. 18 W via a two-core terminal block, or PoE: IEEE 802.3at, Class 4. The network connection is 1 RJ45 10 M/100 M self-adaptive Ethernet port, and the cable length is 15 m (49.2 ft.) (included).

It works with iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect and Hik-Central clients, and supports Open Network Video Interface, ISAPI, SDK and ISUP. The camera measures 210.6 mm × 208 mm × 224 mm and weighs approx. 13.47 kg (29.69 lb.).

Day to day

Smart events include line crossing detection, intrusion detection, region entrance and region exiting detection, unattended baggage detection, object removal detection and scene change detection. Linked actions include upload to FTP/NAS/memory card, notify surveillance center, send email, trigger alarm output, trigger recording and trigger capture.

Video can be stored on a microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC card of up to 128 GB in the built-in memory card slot, or on NAS, CVR or NVR, with up to 20 channels of simultaneous live view.
