What it does

The iDS-9632NXI-M8/X connects up to 32-ch IP cameras, with IP video input up to 32 MP resolution; the NVR supports up to 8-ch 32 MP/24 MP IP video inputs. Incoming bandwidth is 320 Mbps.

Its intelligent analytics are based on a deep learning algorithm. AI by NVR covers facial recognition, perimeter protection, video structuralization and AcuSearch. The NVR has 2 engines; each engine can run an intelligent algorithm, and engine mode is adjustable.

Perimeter protection by NVR covers 24-ch 2 MP or 16-ch 4 MP or 8-ch 8 MP without Large Model, or 12-ch 2 MP or 8-ch 4 MP or 4-ch 8 MP with Large Model. Facial detection and analytics performance is up to 16-ch 2 MP (8-ch for each engine) or 8-ch 4 MP or 4-ch 8 MP.

Installation notes

The recorder is a 2U unit measuring 445 × 465 × 93 mm (W × D × H) and weighing ≤ 10 kg (without HDD). It runs on 100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz, with consumption of ≤ 50 W (without HDD).

Storage is via 8 SATA interfaces for 3.5-inch HDD, with up to 20 TB capacity for each HDD, plus 1 eSATA interface. RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID6 and RAID10 are supported. This iDS-9632NXI-M8/X/12TB-T version is supplied with 12TB of storage.

Connections include 2 RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbps self-adaptive Ethernet interfaces, alarm in/out 16/9, 1 RS-232, 1 RS-485 (full-duplex) and USB (front panel: 2 × USB 2.0; rear panel: 1 × USB 3.0). The API supports ONVIF (profile S/G), SDK and ISAPI.

Day to day

HDMI 1 outputs up to 8K (7680 × 4320)/30Hz and HDMI 2 up to 4K (3840 × 2160)/60Hz; when HDMI1 output resolution is 8K, the maximum HDMI2 output resolution is 1080p. HDMI1/VGA1 and HDMI2/VGA2 give simultaneous output.

Synchronous playback is 16-ch, and AcuSearch by NVR handles up to 8-ch, up to 691,200 targets/day. Up to 8-ch IP speakers can be connected.
