Sharper, wider, and more useful footage

Each camera uses an 8.29 MP progressive‑scan sensor (3840 × 2160) to capture far more detail than 1080p, helping with identification tasks such as recognising faces, confirming clothing details, and reading vehicle number plates at typical residential distances. The 2.8 mm lens gives a wide view (about 102.2° horizontal), making it easier to cover a driveway, front approach or shopfront with fewer blind spots. At night, EXIR 2.0 smart IR provides infrared illumination up to 60 m, while true day/night switching uses an IR cut filter. 

Built for outdoor installs and easy aiming

The cameras are designed for outdoor use with IP67 dust/water resistance and a wide operating temperature range, so they’re suitable for exposed walls, soffits, garages and outbuildings. The turret form factor supports 3‑axis adjustment (pan/tilt/rotate) for simpler aiming, and “up‑the‑coax” control (HIKVISION‑C protocol) helps you adjust camera settings via compatible recorders without needing to connect directly at the camera. 

Smarter recording with AcuSense

The DVR’s deep‑learning Motion Detection 2.0 is designed to classify motion as people or vehicles and reduce false alarms caused by objects like leaves and lights—so alerts and event review are more meaningful day to day. It also supports AcuSearch capabilities and deep‑learning based perimeter protection options (channel/mode dependent), giving you quicker ways to locate the right moment during playback. For local monitoring, HDMI and VGA can be used simultaneously, so connecting a monitor behind a counter or a TV in a home office is straightforward. 

Efficient storage and a clear upgrade path

H.265 Pro+ can be enabled to improve encoding efficiency and reduce data storage costs, helping you keep more footage on the same hard drive. The DVR supports one internal SATA hard drive up to 10 TB, so you can choose capacity based on how many days you want retained. It’s also a hybrid unit: it supports multiple analogue standards (HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS) and can accept additional IP camera inputs (up to 8 channels in enhanced configurations, each up to 8 MP). For transparency, supported main‑stream encoding includes up to 8MP @ 8 fps on channel 1, while “8MP Lite” modes are supported on channels 2–4 (mode‑dependent).
