What it does

The iDS-9632NXI-M8/X is a DeepinMind M Series NVR that connects up to 32-ch IP cameras and records H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 video. Incoming bandwidth is 320 Mbps and outgoing bandwidth is 400 Mbps, with 16-ch synchronous playback.

Perimeter protection uses the deep learning algorithm to reduce false alarms caused by tree branches, leaves, shadow, light, vehicles and small animals. Video structuralization extracts face picture, human body and vehicle features from live videos for the tracking and retrieval of human and vehicles.

For local viewing, HDMI 1 output reaches 8K (7680 × 4320)/30Hz and HDMI 2 output reaches 4K (3840 × 2160)/60Hz, with VGA 1 and VGA 2 outputs at 1920 × 1080/60Hz in HDMI1/VGA1 and HDMI2/VGA2 simultaneous output pairs. When HDMI1 output resolution is 8K, the maximum HDMI2 output resolution is 1080p.

Installation notes

The recorder is a 2U unit measuring 445 × 465 × 93 mm (W × D × H) and weighing ≤ 10 kg without HDD. It runs from 100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz, with consumption of ≤ 50 W without HDD.

The network side has 2 RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbps self-adaptive Ethernet interfaces. IP cameras are added over ONVIF(Version 2.5) or RTSP, and the API supports ONVIF (profile S/G), SDK and ISAPI.

Auxiliary connections include 1 RS-232, 1 RS-485 (full-duplex) and 1 keyboard serial interface, 16/9 alarm in/out, a 12 VDC, 1 A power output, and a controllable 12 VDC, 1 A power output for an external alarm device, controlled by alarm output 9.

The iDS-9632NXI-M8/X is rated for a working temperature of -10 to 55 °C and working humidity of 10 to 90%. Its obtained certifications include CE, FCC and UKCA.

Day to day

The face picture library holds up to 32 face picture libraries, with up to 100,000 face pictures in list library and up to 10,000 in stranger library. The recorder raises list alarm and stranger alarm via the face picture library, and searches target people by picture and name features.

Remote access runs through Hik-Connect & DDNS, with web access without a plug-in and up to 128 remote connections. Playback and downloading support double verification, and ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment) technology protects network camera video storage reliability.

ANPR runs by camera on all channels, reading plate number, license plate color and license plate type, and the recorder supports POS information overlay on live view and playback, with POS triggered recording and alarm.
