Hikvision DS-7716NI-M4/4TB-W 8K Network Video Recorder, 16 Channel, 4TB

What it does

The DS-7716NI-M4/4TB-W is a 16-ch 1.5U 8K NVR. It takes a 16-ch IP video input at up to 32 MP resolution; the NVR supports up to 8-ch 32/24/16 MP IP video inputs, all channels for less than 16 MP.

Video formats are H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264, and dual-stream recording is supported.

Decoding capability is 2-ch@32 MP (30 fps), 3-ch@24 MP (30 fps), 4-ch@16MP (30 fps), 6-ch@12MP (30 fps), 10-ch@8 MP (30 fps), 13-ch@6 MP (30 fps) or 16-ch@5 MP (30 fps).

Installation notes

The recorder has 4 SATA interfaces with up to 16 TB capacity for each disk, plus 1 eSATA interface.

It is built in a 19-inch rack-mounted 1.5U chassis measuring 445 × 400 × 75 mm, weighing ≤ 5 kg (without HDD).

It connects to the network through 2 RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbps self-adaptive Ethernet interfaces and accepts cameras over ONVIF (Version 2.5) and RTSP.

Power is 100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz, with consumption of ≤ 15 W (without HDD). The working temperature is -10 °C to 55 °C.

Alarm In/Out is 16/9. The Ctrl 12V output is a controllable 12 VDC, 1 A power output for an external alarm device, turned on when the alarm output is triggered and controlled by alarm output 9.

Day to day

HDMI 1 outputs up to 8K (7680 × 4320)/30Hz; when HDMI 1 output resolution is 8K, the maximum HDMI 2 output resolution is 1080p. Synchronous playback covers 16-ch.

It supports 128 remote connections. Cyber security support includes Secure Boot, password protection, IP & MAC address filtering, HTTPS encryption, signed firmware and live view & playback stream encryption (AES128).
