What it does

This 8MP Acusense dome network camera uses a 1/1.8" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor at a max. resolution of 3840 × 2160, recording 25 fps at 3840 × 2160 on 50 Hz. Low-light performance is powered by DarkFighter, and HikAI-ISP handles noise reduction.

The 2.8 to 12 mm motorized varifocal lens (F1.2) covers a horizontal FOV of 112.3° to 41.2°. Pan, tilt, rotate and zoom are motorized for easy installation and monitoring, with remote adjustment (Max. 1,000 cycles).

Night vision uses IR supplement light up to 40 m at 850 nm, with minimum illumination of Color: 0.0005 Lux @ (F1.2, AGC ON),B/W: 0 Lux with IR. 130 dB true WDR gives clear imaging against strong back light.

Where it is used

The metal camera is water and dust resistant (IP67), vandal resistant (IK10) and has an anti-corrosion design (NEMA 4X). Startup and operating conditions are -30 °C to 60 °C, humidity 95% or less (non-condensing).

Installation notes

Power is 12 VDC ± 25%, 1.3 A, max. 15.6 W through a 2-core terminal block with reverse polarity protection, or PoE: IEEE 802.3at, Class 4, max. 18 W. The network connection is 1 RJ45 10 M/100 M self-adaptive Ethernet port.

The camera has a built-in memory card slot supporting microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC cards up to 512 GB, and supports NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS). It connects to ONVIF (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T), ISAPI, SDK and ISUP, and works with iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect and Hik-Central clients.

It also has 1 alarm input and 1 alarm output (max. 24 VDC/24 VAC, 1 A), and 1 audio line in and 1 audio line out on two-core terminal blocks. It measures Ø155 mm × 140.4 mm and weighs approx. 1230 g.

Day to day

Perimeter protection covers line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting, with alarm triggering by specified target types (human and vehicle). Face capture is supported.

Events can notify the surveillance center, send email, trigger the alarm output, recording or capture, and set off the audible warning and strobe light flashing; on the /SL model the flashing light is white. The camera has a built-in arrayed dual-microphone and a built-in speaker.
