What it does

The DS-2CD2786G3-IPTRZS2UY/SL is an 8MP Acusense strobe light and audible warning dome network camera. Its 1/1.8" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor gives a max. resolution of 3840 × 2160, and the main stream runs at 25 fps (3840 × 2160) on 50 Hz or 30 fps (3840 × 2160) on 60 Hz.

The motorised varifocal lens covers 2.8 to 12 mm at F1.2, for a horizontal FOV of 112.3° to 41.2°. Pan, tilt and rotate can be set by remote adjustment (max. 1,000 cycles): pan 0° to 350°, tilt 0° to 85° and rotate 0° to 350°.

Person and vehicle classification is based on deep learning technology, and perimeter protection covers line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting, with alarm triggering by specified target types (human and vehicle). Face capture is supported.

Linkage actions include audible warning, strobe light flashing, trigger recording and notify surveillance center. On the /SL model the flashing light is white.

Where it is used

The camera is water and dust resistant (IP67), vandal resistant (IK10) and has an anti-corrosion design (NEMA 4X). Startup and operating conditions are -30 °C to 60 °C, humidity 95% or less (non-condensing).

Installation notes

Power is 12 VDC ± 25%, 1.3 A, max. 15.6 W on a 2-core terminal block with reverse polarity protection, or PoE: IEEE 802.3at, Class 4, max. 18 W.

The camera has 1 RJ45 10 M/100 M self-adaptive Ethernet port, 1 alarm input and 1 alarm output (max. 24 VDC/24 VAC, 1 A), and audio line in and line out on two-core terminal blocks. The metal housing measures Ø155 mm × 140.4 mm and weighs approx. 1230 g.

It works with iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect and Hik-Central, and supports ONVIF (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T), ISAPI, SDK and ISUP.

Day to day

Recordings can be kept on a microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC card up to 512 GB in the built-in memory card slot, or on NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS). Up to 6 channels of simultaneous live view are supported.

An arrayed dual-microphone is built in, and the built-in speaker has a max. sound pressure level of 97 dB at 10 cm. At night the IR supplement light reaches up to 40 m, and B/W min. illumination is 0 Lux with IR.
