What it does

The iDS-9632NXI-M8/X/32TB-T records up to 32-ch IP cameras at up to 32 MP resolution, of which up to 8-ch can be 32 MP/24 MP, with 320 Mbps incoming and 400 Mbps outgoing bandwidth. Decoding capability runs from 2-ch@32 MP (30 fps) to 32-ch@2 MP (30fps), and up to 16-ch can be played back synchronously.

It has 2 engines; each engine can run an intelligent algorithm and engine mode is adjustable. By NVR it provides perimeter protection for 24-ch 2 MP or 16-ch 4 MP or 8-ch 8 MP (Without Large Model), structured analysis for up to 12-ch 2 MP (6-ch for each engine) or 8-ch 4 MP or 4-ch 8 MP, and AcuSearch for up to 8-ch, up to 691,200 targets/day.

With supported cameras it also handles AI by camera: facial recognition, perimeter protection, video structuralization, AcuSearch, motion detection2.0, ANPR, people counting and VCA. ANPR by camera covers all channels, with plate number, license plate color and license plate type attributes.

Installation notes

The NVR measures 445 × 465 × 93 mm (W × D × H) and runs from 100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz, with consumption of ≤ 50 W (without HDD).

For storage it has 8 SATA interfaces for 3.5-inch HDD with up to 20 TB capacity for each HDD, 1 eSATA interface, and RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID6 and RAID10; this model comes with 32TB of storage fitted.

Two RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbps self-adaptive Ethernet interfaces connect it to the network, and cameras are accessed via ONVIF(Version 2.5) and RTSP. Integration options are ONVIF (profile S/G), SDK and ISAPI.

Other connections include 1 RS-232, 1 RS-485 (full-duplex) and 1 keyboard serial interface, front panel 2 × USB 2.0 and rear panel 1 × USB 3.0, alarm in/out 16/9, and a controllable 12 VDC, 1 A power output for an external alarm device. HDMI1/VGA1 and HDMI2/VGA2 each give simultaneous output; when HDMI1 output resolution is 8K, the maximum HDMI2 output resolution is 1080p.

Where it is used

The unit is rated for a working temperature of -10 to 55° C (14 to 131° F) and working humidity of 10 to 90%.

Day to day

Up to 128 remote connections are supported, and the web interface works with IE11, Chrome V57, Firefox V52, Safari V12, Edge V89, or above version. Face picture libraries hold up to 32 face picture libraries, up to 100,000 face pictures in list library.
