Hikvision iDS-2CD7186G2-IZHSY(2.8-12mm) DeepinView Moto Varifocal Dome Camera, 8MP, 2.8-12mm

What it does

This dome captures 8 MP (3840 × 2160) on a 1/1.8" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor through a motorised 2.8 to 12 mm varifocal lens, covering a horizontal FOV of 112.3° to 41.2°. In monitoring mode it reaches up to 60 fps at 3840 × 2160 and up to 120 fps at 1920 × 1080 (60 Hz), and ShotN technology captures vehicles and humans of different speed clearly.

It runs 5 streams, with H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 compression on the main stream, where H.265+ saves bandwidth and storage. E-PTZ supports patrol and auto tracking settings.

An onboard HEOP 2.0 OpendevSDK platform provides 5 TOPS of computing power for up to 4 models.

Where it is used

The camera is water and dust resistant (IP67) and vandal proof (IK10). Low-light colour reaches 0.0005 Lux @ (F1.2, AGC ON), and IR supplement light covers up to 40 m in monitoring mode at 850 nm.

Installation notes

Angle adjustment covers pan 0° to 355°, tilt 0° to 75° and rotate 0° to 355°, and focus can be auto, semi-auto or manual. The camera supports ISAPI, SDK, ISUP, OTAP and ONVIF (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T, Profile M).

Day to day

A built-in dual-mic and speaker give real-time audio security, a built-in G-sensor detects vibration, and a built-in power meter keeps historical power statistics.

Video is viewed in iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect or Hik-Central, with up to 20 channels of simultaneous live view, and can be stored on NAS.
