Hikvision AE-DI2032-G40(B)(EU) Industry Dashcam, Up to 1080P, 4G

What it does

The AE-DI2032-G40(B)(EU) is an industry dashcam with a 1/2.7'' Progressive Scan CMOS and a fixed focal lens, 2.1mm, giving a horizontal FOV of 127°. CH1 records at 25fps 1080P 1920 × 1080 by default, and CH2~CH3 at 25fps 720P 1280 × 720.

Driving Status Monitoring (DSM) covers phone call, smoking, fatigue driving, video occlusion, infrared blocking sunglasses and not wearing seat belt. The Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) lists Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Pedestrian Collision Warning (PCW), Lane Departure Warning(LDW), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), Headway Monitoring Warning (HMW), Traffic Light Detection(TLD) and Forward Car Leaving(FCL).

Positioning is by GPS and GLONASS, and the OSD shows date, time, GPS and speed. A six-axis G-Sensor covers harsh acceleration, harsh deceleration and harsh cornering.

Installation notes

Power is DC 11.8 V~16 V/23.5 V-36 V (P＜12W) through 1, 8-pin BM Male Terminal power interface. The unit also has 2 alarm inputs and 1 RS-232.

For the 4G network it takes 1, Industry Micro SIM, Plug-in type. The device requires industrial SIM card (MP2); the ordinary SIM card (MP1) is prohibited.

Storage is on dual TF cards up to 512GB for each; Class10 or above is recommended. Extension cameras can be 2-ch 720P TVI or 1-ch 1080P TVI.

Where it is used

The protection level is IP4X and the dashcam is not waterproof. It operates from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F) at 10% to 95% (non-condensing) humidity.

Day to day

Preview, playback and parameter editing are done via APP over the built-in Wi-Fi AP, and the dashcam supports HCP Platforms. The language currently only supports English, for both the APP interface and voice reminder.
