Hikvision DS-KV8114-KWQE1 Metal Villa Door Station, 4MP, 150° FOV

What it does

The DS-KV8114-KWQE1 is a metal villa door station with 1 lens: main stream resolution up to 4MP (2688x1520P), a horizontal FOV of 150° and vertical FOV of 105°, WDR support of 120 dB and IR light up to 3 m.

Entry can be granted by face, card, QR code, Bluetooth, PIN code, Hik-Connect, indoor station or mobile app. It stores up to 5000 users, 5000 faces and 25000 cards, and supports up to 16 sub door stations.

Smart features include sound classification detection (scream, glass breaking sound, crying sound, gunshot; recommended detection distance ＜ 3 m), perimeter detection (recommended detection distance ＜ 10 m) and fall down detection (recommended detection distance ＜ 5 m).

Where it is used

The application environment is outdoor. It is rated IP66, IK08 (excluding the lens area and card reading area), with a working temperature of -40 °C to 60 °C and working humidity of 10% to 90% (no-condensing).

Installation notes

Power supply is 12 VDC, 2 A or IEEE 802.3 at standard PoE. Power consumption is listed as With Lock: < 14 W and Without Lock: < 20 W. A power supply output gives Max. 12 VDC, 500mA.

It supports surface mounting and flush mounting, and measures 202.6 mm × 95.6 mm × 28.5 mm (W × H × D). Connections include 1 RJ-45 10/100 Mbps self-adaptive network interface, 2 lock control relays (Max. 30 VDC 1A), 4 alarm inputs (including exit button and door contact input), 1 RS-485 and 1 tamper.

Wireless connectivity is Wi-Fi 2.4G (Wi-Fi type WiFi 6; IEEE802.11b, IEEE802.11g, IEEE802.11n and IEEE802.11ax) plus Bluetooth BLE 5.2, and the network protocols include ONVIF and SIP v2 (RFC3261).

Day to day

The mobile app is Hik-Connect. The door station supports motion detection, playback and call elevator functions.

Audio comes through 2 built-in omnidirectional microphones and 2 built-in loudspeakers with noise suppression and echo cancellation; smart noise reduction gives a noise reduction level of > 15 dB.
