Hikvision DS-2XM6542G1-ID(4MM) Mobile Network Camera, 4MP, 4mm

What it does

The DS-2XM6542G1-ID is a mobile network camera with high quality imaging at 4 MP resolution. It uses a 1/3″ Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and streams 50Hz:25fps at up to 2560 x 1440, with H.265 /H.264/H.264+/H.265+ compression on the main stream.

120 dB true WDR gives clear imaging against strong back light, 3DNR technology delivers clean and sharp images, and advanced streaming technology enables smooth live view and data self-correcting in poor network.

Night vision uses 850 nm IR with a range of up to 30 m and an IR cut filter for day & night switching.

Where it is used

The metal camera is water and dust resistant to IP68 and IP69K and vandal proof to IK10, with startup and operating conditions of -40 °C to 75 °C and humidity less than 95%. A heater is fitted.

Automotive and railway approvals listed by Hikvision include EN50155-2017, EN45545 and E-MARK (ECE R10).

Installation notes

This -ID version is powered from 9~36 V DC at max. 10 W and has 1 RJ45 10M/100M self-adaptive Ethernet port. It has no audio, alarm or RS-485 interfaces.

The wedge-type case allows angle adjustment of pan -15° to 15°, tilt 0° to 30° and rotate -90° to 90° for the 4 mm lens. The camera measures 163.7 mm × 122.6 mm × 65.1 mm and weighs approx. 905 g.

It supports HIKSDK, ONVIF (PROFILE S, PROFILE G,PROFILE T) and ISAPI.

Day to day

Events can notify the monitoring center, send email, trigger recording or trigger capture. Up to 8 channels of simultaneous live view and up to 16 users are supported.
