What it does

This 8 MP panoramic ColorVu bullet uses a 1/2.5" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and a 2.8 mm fixed focal lens at F1.0 to give a 180° panoramic view, with a horizontal FOV of 182.6° and a max. resolution of 4256 × 1888. The main stream runs at 20 fps (4256 × 1888, 4096 × 1856) on both 50 Hz and 60 Hz.

ColorVu 3.0 technology gives 24/7 colorful imaging, with white light, IR light and Smart Hybrid Light modes and a supplement light range of up to 40 m. Minimum illumination is Color: 0.0005 Lux @ (F1.0, AGC ON), 0 Lux with light.

Deep learning classifies persons and vehicles, and perimeter protection covers line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting, with alarm triggering by specified target types (human and vehicle).

Where it is used

The camera is dust and water resistant (IP67) with an anti-corrosion design (NEMA 4X). Startup and operating conditions are -30 °C to 60 °C with humidity 95% or less (non-condensing). Front cover, body and bracket are metal.

Installation notes

Power is 12 VDC ± 25%, 1.67 A, max. 20 W via a Ø5.5 mm coaxial power plug, or PoE: IEEE 802.3at, Class 4, max. 24 W. The network connection is 1 RJ45 10 M/100 M self-adaptive Ethernet port.

Angle adjustment covers pan 0° to 360°, tilt 0° to 90° and rotate 0° to 360°. Interfaces include 1 alarm input and 1 alarm output (max. 24 VDC/24 VAC, 1 A), and audio line in and line out on two-core terminal blocks.

On-board storage is a built-in memory card slot for microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC cards up to 512 GB, and network storage is NAS (NFS, SMB/CIFS). The API covers ONVIF (Profile S, Profile G, Profile T), ISAPI, SDK and ISUP.

Day to day

The camera works with the iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect and Hik-Central clients, with up to 6 channels of simultaneous live view.

Linkage actions include notify surveillance center, trigger alarm output, trigger recording, trigger capture, audible warning and send email.
