What it does

Hikvision's video wall controller is an FPGA-based pure hardware image processing device built from a main control board and service boards. The DS-C30S-DEC is its decoding board.

It supports decoding a maximum of 16 channels of 1080p@30 fps, 32 channels of 720p@30 fps, 4 channels of 8 MP, or 1 channel of 16 MP. In MJPEG the figure is 2 channels of 1080p@30 fps.

Installation notes

The board occupies an input slot, and a chassis takes a maximum of 8 boards. Optional accessories are the DS-C30S-S11 and DS-C30S-S23 video wall controller casings and the DS-C30S-02DPI/4K DP input board.
