Hoyles MG311000 is a controller.

Nurse Call annunciators operate similarly to the Multiguard general purpose annunciators. There is a Silence button F1, but no reset button or isolate facilities are fitted. Integral power supplies are not usually included with these versions as additional power is required for call points and overdoor lights, etc.

The control logic is non-latching. When a call is made, an audible warning is given by an integral piezo sounder and the relevant zone LED flashes. The sounder can be silenced at the panel but must be reset at the call point.

Nurse call annunciators include facilities for Late Attendance indication. When a late attendance condition is generated, the Multiguard emits an interrupted pulsed tone accompanied by an interrupted flashing LED for the relevant zone. Similar but continuous pulsed signals are used for Emergency Re-call.

Signals are prioritised – late attendance takes precedence over standard calls and emergency re-call takes precedence over late attendance. Manual and Electronic Call Points can be used on the same installation. However, late attendance and emergency re-call are only possible with electronic call points.
