MAGFIRE FLK2P 2 Zone Conventional Fire Alarm Kit

The panel

The MAG2P is a 2 zone ABS conventional fire panel. Its sounder 1 and sounder 2 outputs are each 24V (max 300mA fused), its fault/fire relay is volt free, 500mA @ 24V (max load), and its auxiliary output is 24V DC (300mA fused).

Mains fail consumption is 50 mA and the standby supply is up to 12V 7Ah (battery calculation required). Zone condition thresholds are 0 - 2 mA (fault), 2 - 6 mA (normal) and 6 - 110 mA (fire), with a 10K Ω alarm zone end of line.

The panel measures 340 x 290 x 100 mm and weighs 2.1 kg (without battery); its operating temperature is -5 to +40 °C. It also has individual sounder circuit fault ID, individual zone/sounder isolate and a class change facility.

The devices

The PSD2 optical smoke detector (6 in the kit) is conventional, runs at 9 - 30 V DC with an alarm current of 49 mA @ 24V, is rated IP30 and measures ø102 x 48 mm including base.

The SCP2R resettable call point (2 in the kit) is red ABS, 90 x 57 x 90 mm, with a current consumption in alarm state of 38 mA (24V). The BA-2R conventional surface Banshee sounder (2 in the kit) is red flame retardant ABS, ø90 x 75 mm including base, with 3 volume levels and 32 tones.

The BAT7 is a 12V 7.0ah sealed lead acid battery measuring 151 x 65 x 99 mm and weighing 2 kg. The accessories are the BAT7 12V 7Ah SLA battery and the MAGBAR2/4 key & barrel set.
