About

Entry is a door entry system that works standalone or alongside Paxton’s Net2 access control or Paxton10, access control and video management, combining door entry with key features of our access control software. An external panel component of the Entry system. This panel option can open opportunities at sites where vandal resistant capabilities are a prerequisite.

With a market leading IK10 impact rating, the VR panel is made from marine grade stainless steel to meet the most demanding environments. All Entry panels are IPX5 rated, making them suitable for external use in all weather conditions. Installation

Entry components simply interconnect using Cat5 or standard RJ45 terminated patch cables. Entry can also utilise existing network infrastructure for simple installation. PoE technology runs power and data along the same cable to avoid the need for separate power supplies.

The rain hood version of this panel is mounted directly on the surface of the wall so that it is protruding, with an additional 41mm mantel to protect the screen and keypad from the rain. For multiple panel entrances, more than one panel can be associated with an ACU. A secondary IP camera can also be installed and integrated with the Entry system to allow extra security in areas of restricted visibility.

This provides flexibility with the option to switch between the two cameras on the Entry Monitor. Operation

A visitor initiates a video call via the bell button on the external panel. Visitor access can be granted via the Entry monitor, which features an intuitive touchscreen user interface. The internal monitor can be used via either the handset for private calls or in hands free mode.

When connected to Net2 or Paxton10, access to the building can be gained by using a PIN, Code and/or proximity token (including MIFARE® and Paxton tokens). Paxton10 also offers free Bluetooth Smart Credentials for use with Entry panels. Entry v2.22 is required.

Simple

The Net2 Entry system comprises three simple components: external panel, door control unit, and internal monitor handset. On approaching your building, visitors call via the bell button on the external panel. Once you have recognised the caller via the full colour, smart audio/video monitor, you can grant or deny access as appropriate.

Smart

Net2 Entry comes with a built-in video voicemail facility and is fully SIP compatible, meaning you can answer your door via a desk phone, PC, or smart device, so you never miss a call. The system is extremely easy to use and comes in two stylish and discreet panel designs. Choose from the smart, anthracite grey standard panel or the robust vandal resistant, stainless steel version.

Flexible

Net2 Entry also comes with Paxton's leading access control system, Net2, built in, offering a flexible and high security solution. Access control allows you to conveniently manage and secure your building in a cost effective way and sits perfectly alongside door entry. Say goodbye to large bunches of keys; instead electronic tokens can be issued to allow access through the controlled areas and doors.

These tokens are easily barred from the system if they are lost, stolen, or not returned.
