What it does

The RG-RAP73Pro is a Ruijie Wi-Fi 7 BE14000 tri-band ceiling access point. Its tri-radio design has 8 spatial streams (2.4 GHz: 2 x 2, 5 GHz: 3 x 3 and 6 GHz: 3 x 3, all MU-MIMO) and a maximum wireless data rate of 13657 Mbps.

It supports MLO and 4K-QAM, along with OFDMA, beamforming, AP load balancing, 802.11k/v roaming, fast transition (802.11r), Layer 2 and Layer 3 roaming, and AI roaming.

Channel width settings are Auto/20/40/80/160/320 MHz on 6 GHz, Auto/20/40/80/160 MHz on 5 GHz and Auto/20/40 MHz on 2.4 GHz.

Where it is used

Typical settings include star hotels, education and offices, and the access point is designed for high-density scenarios.

It is rated IP41, with an operating temperature of 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) and operating humidity of 5% RH to 95% RH (non-condensing).

Installation notes

It mounts on a ceiling or wall and measures 220 mm x 220 mm x 45 mm (excluding the mounting bracket), with a weight of ≤ 1.1 kg (without packaging materials).

Power comes from PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) or a DC power adapter through one DC power connector (54 V, 0.55 A). If both the DC power adapter and PoE+/PoE++ are connected, the DC power adapter is preferred. Maximum power consumption is 30 W.

For the uplink it has one 10GE SFP+ port and one 10/100/1000/2500BASE-T port, and it is designed for integrating with Multi-G switches.

Coverage range is 145 ㎡ (1560.77 square ft.), obtained in an environment without obstruction; the signal coverage radius depends on client performance and environmental interference.

Day to day

It handles a maximum of 128 (2.4 GHz), 256 (5 GHz) and 256 (6 GHz) associated wireless clients, or 600 with 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz enabled, and up to 8 SSIDs.

It works in AP mode or routing mode and supports IPv6.
