TOA IP-A1PA12 IP Power Amplifier, 12 W, PoE+

What it does

The IP-A1PA12 can integrate analogue receiving devices, such as conventional high impedance speakers or local PA systems, into an IP network. PA or BGM systems without a SIP or ONVIF interface can be integrated into network solutions through it.

It can also be addressed via multicast, enabling audio paging into groups or larger zones of IP audio devices simultaneously.

Where it is used

TOA's application examples include seminar rooms with a requirement for multiple loudspeakers, integrated into VMS or SIP telephone systems, and retail chains with existing local PA/BGM systems brought into IP solutions.

Its operating temperature is −30 °C to +55 °C.

Installation notes

Power is PoE+, with a power / current consumption of 25 W (rated output). The network connection is 1x 100BASE-TX (RJ45).

Audio connections are on terminal blocks: 1x line/mic input (balanced, phantom power), 1x 100 V input, 1x balanced line output and 1x 100 V speaker output.

Control connections are 2x no-voltage make contact inputs, 1x mute control input (24 V) and 1x open collector output, all on terminal blocks. The unit measures 210 x 44 x 81.5 mm (W x H x D) and weighs 940 g.

Day to day

It plays local broadcasts from internal audio files, runs playback programs with repeat, duration and weekly timer options, and accepts HTTP commands through its API.
