About this product

The TOA IP-A1RM is an IP remote microphone designed to make audio broadcasts to IP-A1 series receiving devices via network, for IP paging over SIP or multicast. It is the operator's gateway to the IP paging system: call single devices, perform group paging, transmit prerecorded messages and control the system via network commands, using a gooseneck microphone with LED indicator. It is PoE-powered.

What it does

The IP-A1RM is an IP remote microphone that makes audio broadcasts to IP-A1 series receiving devices via network. It allows both individual and group broadcast, with paging via SIP or multicast.

An announcement can be recorded via the microphone, checked, repeated if required, and then sent into the zones as often as needed. The unit has storage for prerecorded and manually recorded messages.

A system mute function mutes all IP-A1 series devices in the network.

Installation notes

The microphone is PoE-powered, with a power / current consumption of 3.5 W. It connects over 1x 100BASE-TX (RJ45) using protocols including SIP (RFC3261), SIPS, SIP-TLS, RTP and HTTP.

Wiring options are 1x AUX audio input (line/mic, unbalanced, mini jack), 2x no-voltage make contact control inputs and 1x mute control input (24 V), and 1x open collector control output, all control connections on terminal block.
