The Veracity HIGHWIRE Powerstar Base (VHW-HWPS-B) is a base adaptor for fast Ethernet and PoE over legacy cabling, so IP cameras can re-use existing coax cable. Installed at the switch side, it connects to a HIGHWIRE Powerstar (Camera) unit over the coax to carry full bandwidth Ethernet and up to 25W PoE, with no configuration required.
