Videx 4204X-0/S is an audio speaker module from the 4000 range.

4000 Series speaker module with a built-in proximity reader (4204X) for the VX2200 digital system. The speaker module is available with either 0, 1 or 2 buttons, however additional buttons can be added using a combination of the 4042, 4043, 4044 and 4045 IDC button expansion modules. The name plate windows are illuminated blue and the speaker also features 4 call status LED's alerting the user when the system is busy, a call is in progress, when to speak and when the door is open.

The built-in proximity is located behind the name plate window for button 1 and is capable of storing up to 60 user fobs / cards, however this can be increased up to 1000 using the 2X00PC software. The modules contain a speaker and fly lead with microphone which is easily fitted into a 4000 series front frame. Modules attach to the 4000 Series housing frames using a simple but strong clip-in system which can be secured in place using an anti-tamper clip fixing.

Speech levels can be adjusted using separate controls for the speaker, microphone and balance.
